Doctors of Philosophy in Computer Science in Eindhoven in Netherlands. PDEng in User System Interaction (USI) TU/e offers two-year (post-Master's) designer's programs. Like a doctoral candidate, you will have the status of TU/e employee if you are selected for one of these programs. The programs start with a year of advanced education, followed by a major design project of eight to twelve months in a company. The designer's programs lead to a Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng degree). These programs are given under the banner of 4TU.School for Technological Design, Stan Ackermans Institute, a joint initiative of the four universities of technology in the Netherlands. ST offers a two-year post-Master technological PDEng program for MSc graduates with a degree in the field of Computer Science or a related field such as (but not limited to) Business Information Systems, Embedded Systems, Data Science or Information Security. Like a PhD candidate, you will have the status of TU/e employee after being selected for this program. The Software Technology program is designed to prepare you for an industrial career as a technological designer, and later on as a software or system architect. It starts with 14 months of advanced training and education, including 4 small, industry driven training projects, followed by a major design project of 10 months in a company. The technological PDEng programs lead to a Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) degree.
