The PhD program in Applied Psychology aims to promote advanced training in applied psychology through research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge, and the training of researchers and professionals with high scientific skills. This purpose is embodied in a training focused on the acquisition of research skills in applied context, in the development of in-depth knowledge in the specific domains of candidate’s projects, and in the stimulation of the acquisition of teaching and supervision skills of applied research practices. Throughout the 6 semesters, students will be engaged in a program that promotes the development of: 1. skills of research methodology and of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and 2. advanced knowledge and skills in specific scientific domains in Psychology: clinical, educational, and justice / forensics.
