Doctoral Programme in Information Systems and Technology
The Doctoral Program in Information Systems and Technologies(PDTSI – http://pdtsi.dsi.uminho.pt) aims at training researchers that, in an autonomous way, conduct R&D activities in the field of Information Systems and Technologies (TSI). This training is certified with the awarding of the title of Doctor.
The performed R&D activities focus on social and organizational phenomena related to the adoption and use of information technologies. PhD projects may result in technological or theoretical contributions relevant to organizational interventions aiming to enhance organizational development and well being, or to develop innovative computational platforms with the potential to transform organizational or social practices, interactions and relationships.
Access to higher education
The conclusion of this Doctoral degree allows the realization of research activity at the post-doctoral level.
Access to this cycle of studies requires an application to the School of Engineering of the University of Minho.
Master degree in the fields of Information Systems and Technologies, Management Information Systems; Informatics; Computer Science; Information Science. Candidates form areas such Engineering, Economics, Management, Social and Human Sciences might also be admitted. Candidates that do hold a master degree might be admitted if they exhibit a relevant academic and professional curriculum vitae.
- 1st Phase 24th August to 4th September 2015 (Academic Year 2015/2016)
- 2nd Phase 4th to 15th January 2016 (Academic Year 2015/2016)
- 3rd Phase 4th to 15th January 2016 (Academic Year 2016/2017)
