The Doctoral Program in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership serves the purpose of preparing professionals with the theoretical and practical knowledge that allow the application of organizational processes and the theories of leadership that promote the development of strategies, mental habits, and values for creative and highly effective leadership within the educational enterprise.

  • Complete application for admission to the doctoral program. Deadline to apply is February 28 of each year
  • Pay an application fee of $ 75.00 (non-refundable check or money order payable to Universidad del Turabo)
  • Official credit transcripts of all accredited higher education institutions (Bachelors and Masters)
  • Letters of recommendation: 3
  • Admission test: EXADEP 450 points or more (or GRE)
  • Essay on future academic and professional plans and goals
  • Resume and/or curriculum vitae
  • Interview with the doctoral admission committee
  • Master's Degree awarded
  • General minimum average (GPA): 3.30
