Doctor of Philosophy in Business Informatics

Program Objectives: The rapid ongoing development of information and communication technology hardware, firmware and software has significantly impacted the way organizations manage their business. It has become necessary for management to become aware of these new developments as they drive new business initiatives from management and technological points of views.

To meet the demand, DPUIC is offering a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Informatics for business executives and leaders who want to complement their presentation skills with an up-to-date understanding and knowledge of the information and communication technology-rich business environment. This program was also designed to improve research in information and communication technology.

Students in this program will:

• Have a clear understanding of the information and communication technology-rich business environment.
• Acquire research skills needed for IT strategic planning to determine an organization’s future.
• Become senior managers who can keep up-to-date with the advancement of information and communication technologies relevant to business operations and management.

Semesters:

Semester 1: August - December

Semester 2: January - May

Summer: June - August

Program Timetable:

Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Postgraduate Applications Accepted: DPUIC accepts Admission Application throughout the year; however, incoming postgraduate students can only begin their studies during Semester 1 or Semester 2.
