The proposal is consistent with the necessary modification of resource management patterns, seeking to optimize their use, through internal and external collaboration formulas and is closely and directly related to R & D & I in each and every one. of the lines of research covered by the Doctorate Program in Economics and Business. Precisely, some of these lines have already produced research results that have been transferred in the form of knowledge to society, the private sector and public decision-making bodies. In particular, we will stand out for its special relevance for key sectors of the economy that are intended to develop in the medium and long term issues related to tourism and innovation. In the case of other profiles of Graduates / Graduates in Economics and Business, but who did not take master's courses, an equivalence of training in research credits will be needed, at least equal to those of master's degree that gives direct access, which will be 12 ECTS.
Other profiles: in the case of other types of profiles different from the previous ones, the academic committee will evaluate each case individually. The possibility of requiring training complements (maximum up to 15 ECTS) will be considered.
C. Students with foreign degrees
Students with a non-homologated foreign degree may apply for admission to doctoral studies provided that a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish university master's degree is accredited and it is empowered in the country that issued the degree to access doctoral studies . This admission will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree or the recognition for other purposes than those of access to these teachings.
AdmissionOf the 30 places offered each year, 20 are reserved for direct access Master students. In the event that not all of them are covered, the remaining places would be available to the rest of the students from other degrees.
The Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program will make the admission decision of the candidate based on his academic record and his curriculum vitae. Thus, the candidate will be asked for the corresponding documentation (Curriculum vitae and academic record of the university degree and the master's degree), and will meet to assess the candidates, issue a reasoned affinity report and determine which are the accepted and rejected candidates.
