Students obtain required skills in literary, rhetoric and grammatical fields related to the old and new Persian texts.
Course subjects will prepare students to focus on developing the skills needed for speech and scholarly judgments in the field of language and literature and give them the experience to teach the undergraduate and graduate students in the country or possibly abroad.
Fields of Persian rhetoric and literature, poetry and prose, expository texts in Arabic, the original texts of Persian literature, Mysticism, etc.
This course is designed for at least 7 semesters including the dissertation. To graduate, students must complete 36 units. They also need to pass the comprehensive exam before defending their dissertation.
