Chemistry of the Life Processes Students entering this Program are trained in all fields of Biochemistry including bioenergetics, enzymology, molecular biology, protein chemistry and structure, immunochemistry, xenobiochemistry (biochemistry of foreign substances), chemical and cellular fundaments of the metabolic reactions etc. Students participating in the Program are actively involved in grant supported research projects at the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Science of Charles University Prague as well as in the collaborating laboratories at the Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic, and in regional and company laboratories.
