Admission Requirements

 

A good Masters degree in Economics is required for admission to the PhD Programme directly. Students with a strong honors degree (first class or second upper) in Economics or have a good quantitative background such as in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, operations research, etc; may be considered for direct entry to the PhD programme.

Applicants whose native tongue or medium of university instruction is not in English should submit the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score as evidence of their proficiency in the English language.... [-]
