The Atlantic Islands PhD program: History, Heritage and Institutional-Legal Framework is a multidisciplinary research training proposal, offered by the universities of the Macaronesian Region that aims to affirm the scientific validity of island studies and, especially, those of the archipelagos of the middle Atlantic, according to their historical, cultural, patrimonial and legal specificities, understood as a shared island world. Although professors belonging to the "Legal-institutional framework" line at the Universidad de La Laguna participate in the offer of the other three universities of the Program, the training offer includes only the first and second lines of the program. -
