Part time PhD Programs in Korean

Korean is spoken by millions of people living in South Korea, North Korea and in several Chinese prefectures. However, slight differences in word usage and grammar exists between the Korean language spoken by South and North Koreans. Learning Korean also involves learning dialectical differences based on tonal and idiomatic dissimilarities. However, these dialects are partially intelligible and generally pose little problem when communicating in either districts.

Students who complete a part of their degree in Asia are growing in numbers. Currently, the second and the third biggest economies are in Asia. Without limitation, students have described their time in Asia as the best experience of their lives. Today, three of the four most populated countries of the world are in Asia: China, India, and Indonesia.

Requirements for the PhD program often involve the student having already obtained a Master’s degree. Additionally, a thesis or dissertation primarily consisting of original academic research must be submitted. In some countries, this work may even need to be defended in front of a panel.

Part time learning allows one to obtain part-time degrees even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at his or own pace, gradually accumulating credits which count towards final qualification.
