The extra-occupational doctoral programme of the IfM will provide you with a doctorate course for which you will not have to limit your career or private life on a large scale. In cooperation with the Mendel University of Brno, we offer a particularly flexible Ph.D. programme with excellent supervision to academics who want to do their part-time doctorate. Admission Criteria

Interested candidates need to have successfully completed their Masters' study, Technical Degrees or Postgraduate studies and must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English.

Doctorate Programme

The Doctorate programme for Graduates consists of a minimum of six semesters and is structured as follows:

Year One: three seminars held on Fridays and Saturdays, followed by an oral examination during May.

Year Two: three seminars held on Fridays and Saturdays followed by an oral examination during May.

Seminars include topics in economics, the methodology of science, management, and an elective that is specifically geared to the candidate’s thesis.... [-]
