Justification and Purpose

The Doctoral Programme in Marketing and Strategy is a project that enhances the synergies of three recognized national higher education institutions: the University of Minho, Aveiro University and the University of Beira Interior, respectively.

Their primary objective is to provide doctoral students with an insight into the state-of-the-art about the advances of scientific knowledge in Marketing and Strategy. It is a programme of international scope, complete and innovative, which resorts to education in the English language. In addition, it is flexible, as it offers the possibility to develop studies/research in a part-time or full-time regime.

It is a six-semester-long programme, which corresponds to 180 ECTS. Therefore, it combines the structural components of Marketing and Strategy and specific optional course units of both areas, at two different times: the first year is dedicated to coursework and research in the three above-mentioned universities, according to their calendars, and the last two years are devoted to the design and elaboration of an original doctoral thesis....
