Professional Studies

A PhD or Doctor of Philosophy is a postgraduate academic degree awarded by universities. Once one attains a PhD he or she may often be referred to as a doctor.

The term “professional studies” is used to refer to academic programs that are designed to provide as much preparation as possible for the workplace. Students may learn about a specific industry or general professional concepts, as well as important career skills.
