Public Administration

A PhD, also known as a Doctor of Philosophy degree, is a doctorate awarded by a university to the academic who has met all necessary qualifications and can now be considered a doctor in his or her academic field.

Public administration is a field with an emphasis on serving citizens and communities. Individuals who specialize in public administration may choose to work for government or non-profit organizations as they manage budgets, study data to determine the needs of societies, and implement new policies to encourage economic growth.

Europe is, by convention, one of the world's seven continents. Comprising the western most point of Eurasia, Europe is usually divided from Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian and Black Seas, and the waterways connecting the Black and Aegean Seas.
