Description of the entrance examination and evaluation criteria The examination consists of a 1. Discussion about the research project (of the dissertation). (max. 12 points) 2. Examination on English language proficiency (max. 4 points) Entrance examination will check the ability to communicate in English (in the extent necessary for literature study, communication in international teams, preparation of materials and teleconferences). Therefore the examination will be partly in English. 3. It will check of basic assumptions for the Longevity studies (motivation, knowledge and activities in research and practice and their theoretical or applied results). Also the knowledge of relevant research methods will be part of the entrance examination. (max. 4 point). The research project has to be prepared by the applicant (cca. 4-6 pages) and submitted with the application. I tis advised to consult the research project with the potential supervisor. During the examination the research project will be discussed and its quality (topic, method, formal issues etc.) will be evaluated by the commission. From the entrance exams can get max. 20 points. Conditions for admission 1. Submission of the filled-out application form for doctorate studies, along with the following appendices.
