Pioneering research has always been at the heart of all teaching and learning at the University of Bradford School of Management. The School ranks as one of Europe's Top 60 Business Schools and is in an elite group of only 1% of business schools in the world to hold the triple accreditations of EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB, often referred to as the "Triple Crown". In the current RAE, 90% of the School's research was assessed to be of international standing.
The Bradford PhD
Studying a Ph.D. degree at the School of Management places you at the core of the University's intellectual life and at the forefront of its worldwide quest to provide future generations with the necessary flow of new management ideas. The Bradford Ph.D. allows you to conduct research under the supervision of our international, experienced, and highly committed faculty. As well as being supervised by two well-established researchers, you will take part in research training to provide you with the knowledge and skills to design and carry out rigorous research. You also have opportunities to present your work in our school's research seminars to discuss your research with fellow Ph.D. students and members of the faculty.
We pride ourselves in providing supervision arrangement based on the integration into the world-leading research and teaching undertaken at the Management School and tailored towards students' career needs. Our student destination data show that more than 75% of our Ph.D. graduates in the last 10 years work in academia, research institutions or consultancy firms.
