Introduction
Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Psy.D. – Statesboro
Degree Requirements: 114-124 Credit Hours
We have more than 900 undergraduate students pursuing bachelor’s degrees, and over 60 graduate students enrolled in master’s or doctoral programs. At the undergraduate level, 700 students are enrolled in the B.S. degree at our Statesboro Campus, and 200 students are in the B.A. or B.S. degree programs at our Armstrong Campus in Savannah, which also offers a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Majors learn the foundational knowledge of psychology, exploring the breadth of the field’s research through our comprehensive (Statesboro) or experimental (Armstrong) degree tracks. Our new neuroscience track offers B.S. students at Armstrong the chance to gain an understanding of psychology’s connections with biology and chemistry.
The B.A. at Armstrong Campus provides students with a minor that complements their educational and career goals. Students leave our undergraduate program with a foundational understanding of psychological science and its application, including data analysis, writing, and critical thinking. With these skills they are prepared to enter the work force or pursue graduate study in psychology or related fields.
