Introduction
Department of Communication Engineering was founded in 2003, and its graduate programs (Ph.D. and Master programs) were founded in 2000. The department currently consists of 15 faculty members. The department has three research groups:
- Communication Systems
- Signal Processing
- Communication Networks
To investigate communication theory and promote technology, faculty members, and graduate students always diligently pursue a lot of advanced research projects all over the world.
Requirements for Graduation
Required credits: 18 credits (including 4 credits from seminar classes)
Duration of Study: 2~7 years
Other requirements :
- To pass Ph.D. candidate qualification examination within the first fifth semesters.
- To publish, at least, two international journal papers which are relevant to the research areas. The journals must be SCI-indexed journals.
- For the published papers, the Ph.D. student must be the first author, except for his/her thesis advisor. The student and his/her thesis advisor must be affiliated with NCU.
- To pass a thesis oral defense.
- Elective Courses.
