Introduction
The Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership, Management and Policy is designed to equip practitioners with a variety of theoretical and research-based administrative and supervisory skills for potential and practicing administrators in higher education institutions as well as state Department of Education settings. The program focuses on training informed leaders through the utilization of scholarly research and theoretical models, which are applied to experiential situations.
General Approach
Courses generally meet once a week in the evening. The study is available on a full- or part-time basis for either focus.
The small size of the Ed.D. program at Seton Hall University allows for frequent faculty interaction and close work with your adviser. We are committed to maintaining a small, selective, and focused program that will prepare our graduates to pursue a range of possible careers.
The Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership, Management, and Policy program requires a master's degree upon admission and at least 45 credits at Seton Hall. It is designed to provide students with the skills to analyze complex situations and provide the leadership needed to effect change in organizations where learning is the focus.
