Program description
General purpose
To train researchers who are capable of designing and directing projects and research groups that address regional and national social problems.
Specific objectives
- Develop skills and competences for the design, evaluation and conduct of social research projects.
- Generate in the graduates the competencies for the training of human resources (researchers and evaluators) in the areas of Social Sciences.
- To train individuals capable of evaluating projects and strategies based on multidisciplinary social research, aimed at solving real problems in regional and national environments.
- Promote interdisciplinary research in the Social Sciences, establishing the bases for the effective, controlled and productive integration of the different areas of social knowledge.
- Form subjects capable of working, perfecting and evaluating multidisciplinary research projects in Social Sciences aimed at satisfying information demands.
- Promote interdisciplinary research in the Social Sciences, establishing the bases for their integration as complex knowledge, linking related areas such as those cultivated in the divisional field.
