Introduction
Doctorate in Literary Studies
The general objectives of the doctoral Program are to:
Provide doctoral students with an advanced training in literary studies which is firmly anchored in the most uptodate theory
Develop advanced methodological competences in literary studies and promote the achieving of original research projects, which contribute to a better understanding of literature in itself and in its relations with other systems and cultures.
Establish a harmony between the instructional aims of the DPLS and the prior training of the students via different areas of specialization.
Motivate a specialized training in Literary Studies which values and promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, interculturality and multiple perspectives.
Foment a healthy attitude of collaboration between all those engaged in the DPLS, as well as with other partners who might become associated in order to build a research community that will add to the sum of greater knowledge.
