Introduction
The doctoral program in Digital Studies, funded by swiss universities for the period 2017-2020, was created at the University of Lausanne in January 2017. From its first year of existence, this program brought together more than sixty doctoral students interested in digital studies.
The doctoral program in Digital Studies offers doctoral students from the universities of Lausanne, Geneva, Friborg, Neuchâtel, Basel, Bern and EPFL a space for reflection and sharing around the challenges of digital cultures, societies and humanities. Designed as an extension of the Interfaculty Master in Digital Humanities at UNIL, this doctoral program is resolutely interdisciplinary, offering to develop a transversal perspective on the challenges of digitization in the context of the human and social sciences.
