The academic study of humanities provides students with a broad understanding of many key areas of human history and culture. This can include studies in the visual and performing arts, history, and literature, as well as the teaching of critical thinking and rhetoric skills.

Mexico, officially the United Mexican States, is a federal constitutional republic in North America. To receive a PhD a student must demonstrate original research in their chosen field of study, produce a dissertation on that research, and defend their dissertation in front of other experts.
