Founded in 1995/96 as a mainstay of the unique Innsbruck Open University concept, Management Center Innsbruck has earned a top position in the international landscape of higher education. Today, more than 3,200 students, 1,000 teachers, 240 partner universities from all over the world, and countless graduates and employers value highly what the Entrepreneurial School® has to offer.

In the framework of the "Comprehensive University Innsbruck" concept the MCI strives to mentor motivated people, who want to build their future through goal-oriented continuing education, in their personal and professional development.

MCI offers graduate, non-graduate and post-graduate educational programs of the highest standard to senior and junior managers from all management levels and branches. MCI's programs focus on all levels of the personality and include areas of state-of-the art knowledge from science and practice relevant to business and society. As an internationally oriented information and communication center, MCI is open to new perspectives, methods and projects. Constructive dialogue and co-operative development of interdisciplinary competences are two of the pillars of teaching and learning at MCI.

The Executive PhD Program offered by the University of Antwerp, the Antwerp Management School and the Management Center Innsbruck is a four-year, part-time research-based program for senior executives seeking to apply relevant and current knowledge and research skills to contemporary business problems in their industry or at their workplace. The Executive PhD Program offered by the University of Antwerp, the Antwerp Management School and the Management Center Innsbruck is a four-year, part-time research-based program for senior executives seeking to apply relevant and current knowledge and research skills to contemporary business problems in their industry or at their workplace. The program is a premium executive development program designed to be academically rigorous and intellectually challenging. The program will be delivered at the campus of the Antwerp Management School and the campus of Management Center Innsbruck. After successfully defending the doctoral dissertation (after 4 years), participants will earn a PhD in Management Sciences or PhD in Social Sciences (issued by the University of Antwerp*). * The establishment of the program is subject to submission to and registration by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ) in accordance with § 27 para. 1 and in accordance with § 27 para. 6 HS-QSG. The registration of the program in accordance with § 27 para. 6 HS-QSG does not ascertain equivalence with Austrian study programs and similar Austrian academic degrees. Graduates awarded with an academic degree from Belgium are entitled to use it in accordance with § 88 para. 1 of the 2002 law governing universities. The academic degrees awarded by the University of Antwerp are therefore recognized foreign degrees in Austria and may be used in official documents in accordance with § 88 para. 1a of the 2002 law governing universities.
