PhD Studies at ISE The Irish School of Ecumenics provides research supervision across disciplinary fields which include the ethics and theology of conflict and peace; reconciliation; human rights and ethics in international affairs; interreligious dialogue and intercultural theology; ecumenical theology; gender issues; development and globalisation; the interplay of politics and religion etc. The ISE offers a structured PhD. Students work with their supervisor(s) over a four year period and are required to take a minimum of 10ECTS in taught modules to develop their research skills over the course of their studies.
