This Is Medaille College
Medaille College is a private, nonsectarian four-year college with campuses in Buffalo, Rochester and online. Medaille focuses on your success as a student and as a future professional by offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in hands-on, practitioner-based learning environments on campus and in the Western New York community.
We prepare you for a lifelong commitment to civic sustainability and professional success by granting you early access to career training. You do more than learn from textbooks. You learn by doing. Instead of reading how to apply psychotherapy practices, you observe real professionals in the session. Rather than studying old business plans, you work with a team to develop new plans that save real businesses in Buffalo.
Your community is your classroom at Medaille College. Learning extends well beyond the four walls of a lecture hall. You go out into the field and solve real problems concerning your local community. Create an algorithm that better matches mentors with youth at Big Brothers Big Sisters. This is how Medaille trains you to be an ethical, civically responsible individual your entire life.
The relationships you build at Medaille last a lifetime as well. You begin building a professional network the day you arrive on campus. Your instructors treat you less like a student and more like a future colleague. Our alumni are always returning to campus for special speaker series, panel discussions or just to say, "Hi." Once you become a member of the Medaille family, you have a support system that extends beyond our Buffalo campus as Medaille grads make differences all over the world.
You can make a difference by participating in student activities, clubs and organizations, and athletics. Medaille has a club for just about every career interest and academic program. Be a team player in the community or in the gym as Medaille fields successful NCAA Division III athletic teams for men and women. No matter what your interests are, we all play on the same team at Medaille. We are all Mavericks.
Regardless of what type of student you are, Medaille College prepares you for whatever comes next. Medaille is where you are the center of attention. It's where we focus on your success. It's where college meets a career.

Where College Meets Career
Medaille students learn by doing. You do more than read about how to treat illnesses, you administer treatments on live animals in a state-of-the-art laboratory. You don’t just write a script for a television broadcast, you produce one live in a studio. Medaille has interactive labs that provide you with invaluable hands-on experience.
What better way to prepare for your future career than by learning out in the workplace alongside real professionals? Experiential learning is at the heart of The Medaille Advantage as you’re placed in the field with internships, preceptorships, and student teaching assignments. Further enrichment comes from speaker series, team and cohort learning environments, and observations. The capstone project is your opportunity to sum it all up and create meaningful solutions to real issues in your field. You are going to be better prepared to land your dream job than your competition because you’ve experienced what’s it like in the workplace and know how to solve real-world problems.
Learning that’s practitioner-based, student-centered and experiential makes Medaille the place where college meets career.
